I’ve included Word Press Plug Ins & info that I’ve found extremely useful. I don’t use all these at one time. I use about ten daily and others I use occasionally. Enjoy!
WordPress Plug-Ins
1. Adhesive Plugin
-This is useful for posts that you don’t want getting buried. It keeps it as the top post until you unstick it. I’m a fairly active blogger so anything I want others to read I sticky so they can find it easily.
*Update- I uninstalled it because it was causing some of my other Plugins to act up.
2. Adsense Deluxe
A cool plug in that inserts Google adsense code. I really enjoy this plug-in and use it often. I’m not a fan of inserting ads into every single post. This plug-in lets me insert code only in the posts that I want ads.
3. Akismet Plugin
This is fairly effective at stopping spam. On average, I receive a few hundred per day. This stops most of them cold. What Akismet doesn’t get Spam Karma 2 will take them out.
4. All In One SEO Pack
Excellent Plug In that enables you to tweak your titles.
5. Angusman’s Feed Copyrighter Plugin
This Plug In inserts copyright messages into your feeds. It will add a statement that says If you are not reading this material in your news aggregator, the site you are looking at is guilty of copyright infringement. This plug in is customizeable.
6. Comment Relish
This is a fabulous way to recognize your new readers it will send an email to the person thanking them for stopping by.
7. Custom Smileys
-This adds additional smileys to messages.

10. Dual Feeds - Stephen Cronin: More Than Scratch The Surface
Stephen Cronin’s plugin allows you to creates ‘dual feeds’. This gives your readers an opporunity to choose between a full post feed and a summary feed. The great thing about it is this will work for all post feeds(category, author, etc), not just the main site feed. Your comment feeds are unaffected.
11. FeedBurner FeedSmith
You can find out how many subscribers you have by using this plugin. On June 25, 2007 I have 120 readers, not a lot, but the my list grows every week.
12. Filosofo Google Ad Sectioning
This plugin uses Google section targeting which helps make the content of your ads more relevant.

17. Spam 2 Karma Reloaded
Another great spam plug in I use Akismet and Spam Karma 2. The spammers rarely get through I have to give it to them some try to be creative and attempt to make the spam look like regular posts but one of these two will usually stop them.
18. Subscribe to Comments
-Allows your readers to subscribe to posts that they are interested in. They will be sent an email when anyone adds to the conversation.
19. TD Word Count
This shows up in your dashboard it’s a great way to track words you’ve written per posts. I don’t use it as much since most of my writing, these days, is done in Scrivener.
20. WP Ajax Edit Comments
This allows your readers to edit their comments when they make typos. As the administrator you can control the time they have to make the changes. The default is thirty minutes.
