The Importance of Branding Your Website/Blog

Alright so you want to increase your website traffic. Did you know that it’s important to focus on how you are branding your business or blog? This year I decided to change my focus on Vegan Momma but I was unsure of the direction I wanted to go. Finally about a few months ago I decided that Vegan Momma should be a community type of blog.

I write about a lot of different topics and encourage participation from the readers that make up my community. Since I’m not writing just to read what I have to say I decided that I needed to change my approach to blogging. Surprisingly the approach I used was the same approach I use when interacting with my customers.

Brand Management is extremely important. The way I brand myself has been extremely effective in my business my approach is similar on my blog. With my business, I do a lot personal interaction with my customers, and I try to do the same with my blog readers. There are numerous ways to show appreciation to my readers. I make a point to visit my I bloggers virtual homes, I regularly stumble articles that I know others will appreciate.

To increase my reach I regularly visit new blogs and participate in numerous social networks, etc. Making a good impression is important I try to do this by responding to comments left by my readers and visiting them at their homes. I want them to know that I truly appreciate what they have to say.

What Would I Change At Allinanchor.com?

  1. Open the comments up so anyone can comment. Not everyone wants to register.  Your readers are your clients.  Make it easy!
  2. Make the articles longer - Some of your readers might be newbies to internet marketing.  They will appreciate articles that will walk them through some of the steps needed in being an effective internet marketer.

Food, Ramblings, and Alexa Ranking

Posted on June 20th, 2007 in Alexa Ranking, SEO by Vegan Momma

There hasn’t been too much cooking going around in these parts lately. My meals have been mainly mono meals. What’s a mono meal? Eating one type of vegetable or fruit at a time. I cut up a luscious watermelon a few days ago and have been feasting on that along with snap beans, lettuce, avocado, collards, and blueberries. Except the watermelon and the avocado everything else came from my garden. Talk about delicious.

I’ve been high raw for several years so transitioning to mainly raw was not difficult if I eat something that isn’t raw my body usually tells me. Aiyana has been eating a lot of leafy greens (she’s been on a green kick) along with bean pate’.

My new website is moving along nicely I’m still doing behind the scene maintenance so although I’ve been visiting other bloggers within my niche I haven’t started commenting. I’ll probably do that later today.

Cartoon ~ Money

You know I’ve forgotten to do? Let my readers know how much I’ve made since I began adding sponsored content to my website. I started the last week in April.

Here’s what I’ve made so far…

Pay Per Post $498.50
Sponsored Reviews $156.00
Bloggerwave $ 20.00
Blogsvertise $ 82.50
LinkyLoveArmy $ 10.00
Review Me $ 25.00
Google Adsense $ 2.67

Total $ 794.67

In seven weeks I’ve made $794.67! Not bad, eh? Actually I’ve made a little over $1,000 but I haven’t included the reviews I picked up on my own (two) or the articles I’m writing. They will be included in the end of June’s update.

Here’s the kicker. I could have made a lot more money.
There were many opportunities I turned down because…

ViralTags

tags I was over at Bumpzee and learned all about ViralTags from Ryan Shamus; of course, I decided to participate. It works similar to Viralink, however you’re not linked to an * but an actual keyword.
