We Made it!
Well our vacation has come to a close. My daughter and I arrived home about thirty minutes ago. We enjoyed out chance to get away, something I think we’ll do a lot more throughout the year, but it surely feels great to be back home.
Our fuzzbutts aka ferrets accompanied us on our adventures to sunny South Carolina and they seem happy to be home also. Surprisingly they slept most of the way home, pretty impressive since it took a little over eight hours.
I’m planning a long vacation either late this year or early next year during that time I think we’ll stay away for at least three weeks. I have my wireless card so I’ll be able to work while I’m away from home. It feels great to be able to work from anywhere and even better that I’m actually getting paid to sit on my butt all day. All right I really don’t do that! Too much energy and the thought of staying in the house all day would drive me nuts!
I’ll be catching up on comments, emails, and of course visiting my blog buddies over the next few weeks.
Tonight Aiyana and I are watching one of the Harry Potter movies, (I’ve read all the books) it’s coming on television this evening. I rarely watch television but for this I’ll make an exception. ;-)
