How do you relax?
Ever had a week, or several weeks when everything passes by in a blur? Yes, I’m having another one of those. When these occur I know I better write things down otherwise I’ll forget to do something.
The past few weeks it seems I really haven’t had a chance to do too much. Am I complaining about that, no. It’s a good thing. Really it is. I found out something hiring an employee is a lot of work. They have to learn how you do things and you have to be their to assist if they have any questions. Of course, I knew this before the hiring however knowing and actually going through it is two different stories.
I’ve been making an honest effort to take breaks from my work and spend time with my daughter. Those efforts have paid off. Instead of letting my work, and the frustrations that come with it consume me. I’ve conquered those obstacles and moving on to the next round.
I’ve finally purchased BiosShock Yeah, yeah, I know I was supposed to purchase it months ago but I was too busy, all right? I’m happy to say I had a chance to play Bioschock earlier this week. Although I didn’t advance far as I would have liked to in the game. I was immediately reeled by the story line and the graphics are amazing.
You would be proud of me Bush. It seems that Bush Mackel is always playing some type of game however when he wrote this…
“With the kid crawling every which way he can now, it makes it just THAT much more difficult to find time to curl up with a good game.”
I have to admit I laughed when Bush wrote that in hisWii - The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess Review. I know that was very mean of me, right? Welcome to my side of the planet, B! Before Aiyana made an appearance one of the ways I relaxed was playing a game. It was either a FPS or a good RPG. The past year I’ve been making an effort to get back into gaming after I finally got over a few hurdles it was actually going smoothly, that is until my daughter decided she liked playing games on my xBox 360, gah! My game time quickly turned into her game time and I found myself on the sidelines watching her play. Of course I loved watching her but I wanted some of the action also. It only gets worse Bush, lol! Hold on to the gaming while you can. I still need to meet up with you on xBox live and play a game.
How do I relax?
I relax in a variety of ways gaming is just one of them. Spending time with my daughter, exercise, reading, creating, blogging, and playing the piano are just a few ways I relax. One thing I’ve learned is that I need to find ways to handle my busy times. Because I’m always going to have them. Learning how to handle my busy times efficiently will keep my stress level down and I won’t become overwhelmed. People relax in different ways the key is finding something you enjoy and making the time to do it.
Question: When you’re extremely busy do you force yourself to take a break?
