Updates & Finding That Happy Medium For Posting
I haven’t been as active on vegan momma as I would like. It appears that certain things like real life keeping getting in the way of my online time. What a dilemma, eh? Decisions, decisions real life vs. online life? Nope no contest I don’t even have to decide what is going to get my attention.
Posting Frequency
I’ll be posting at least 3 - 4 times weekly, but I cannot promise to post daily. Since I try to make an effort to inform my readers what’s going on I thought I would let you know.
What’s Going On In the Real World
I’ve hired an employee for my company. I’m really happy about it, and it took some time to find that perfect fit but I believe I’ve made the correct choice. Hiring frees up my time to do other things like spending more time with my daughter, devoting more time to marketing my businesses, and of course writing for others.
Freelance Writing
I will now be writing for two technology websites. A few days ago I heard back from the last technology job I applied for. I don’t start working for either of them until next week. with the last job. I made the initial weeding out process, and I had to do a writing test. I’m stoked this position is for another popular technology website. When I start writing for both places I’ll link to my articles in the sidebar. I make money two ways from the actual article and the amount of page views I receive. Regarding freelance writing I’m booked I cannot anymore take on clients.
Feeburner Issues
My RSS feed is still acting nuts. When I have the chance, I’ll follow up with feedburner to see what’s going on. At the moment over 80 subscribers have been knocked off the list. If you are physically coming to my website and check me out via RSS you might want to make sure my feed is working correctly. If it’s not you can subscribe to my RSS feed again. My apologies for the inconvenience this might have caused.
Fitness Updates
I’ll be posing some exercise routines over the next few days. I would like to make this a weekly practice. Although some of the routines I’ll write about will require you to be at a gym or have gym equipment at home. I’ll also be including simple exercises that you can do at home. I don’t want to leave anyone out.
Question: Do you think a person can post too often? Personally I don’t have a problem with it if they are providing excellent content I’ll keep reading. Also a few of my tech websites post several times daily. During my down time I will read the articles that appeal to me.

If people posts things that are of interest to me, I don’t care how often they post. If they post just for the sake of posting, I may not stay around long.

Well congratulations on hiring your first employee! I hope that makes your life a little easier.
As far as posting too much? Well, I guess there are always going to be posts that interest you and posts that don’t interest you. I think people post when they feel they have something to share or want to start a discussion, so I don’t think there is a big problem with posting too much. However, there may be a problem with not all of the posts being interesting to you. Some blogs belong in a niche and some don’t so it all depends on what you want to read and how you are feeling at the time. ;)

I used to be a serious myspace blogger. I would post 3-5 times per day. It was MY LIFE. It consumed me. I quit that some 6 months ago.
No, you can’t blog too often as far as the readers are concerned. If you have something to say, say it.
Just don’t let it consume you like it did me.

You are a busy busy person.
I have taken the plunge and given up my job to return to a freelance lifestyle.
I am very scared but do not have many overheads so can hopefully eek out enough money online to survive!
As they say Content is Queen so as long as it’s up to par it’s good by me.

I am sometimes tempted to make posts simple because I haven’t made one in a while but, you’re right when you say that you can’t post too much when it’s good content and worth reading.
I have been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to post as much as I used to and I really miss being able to come and visit all my ‘friends’ so it’s actually a relief to me if you don’t post often because I can catch up quicker when I do visit!

If the posts are quality then I don’t think you can post too much. I’ve just started video blogging because I’ve realised I can do it faster so then post more often (as in once a day instead of every other day).
I love blogs with video but friends of mine still like the traditional writing posts, so for me the question is more, is it best to write a post or video blog it …
Or maybe it depends on the content. I did one today which was about mud masks and felt like I could demonstrate better with visuals!!
