WordPress Plug In: WordPress Automatic Upgrade
I just upgraded all my blogs to the latest and greatest version of Word Press, WordPress 2.3.2. The installation took less than three minutes for each blog. It was all made possible thanks to the WordPress Automatic Upgrade.
I also use the Word Press Plug In One Click installer it’s a simple way for me to install all the plug ins I use. The great news Is I haven’t had to use FTP in months thanks to One Click Installer.
Naturally I backed up my work before making the installation with some of my websites, like Vegan Momma, I have a lot of information and there is no way I would want that to be lost. However, I do make it a practice to back up my work daily in case something happens I won’t have to worry about my information being lost.
If you are a WordPress user who’s hosting WordPress on your own server go on and download the plug in. Thus far I’ve downloaded it on twelve websites and I haven’t had any issues.
I hope the information was helpful and happy blogging!

I want to use WordPress when I get my blog hosted so this is good to know that their automatic updater works so well. And I’m glad it didn’t give you a hard time Opal. That is good to know when you are dealing with so many sites.

Hi Opal! I’ve been using this plug in for a few months. It sure takes the headache out of upgrades. Though I have read some criticism about security issues, I haven’t been able to find any.
This plug in works great! It let me know version 2.3.2 was ready and bam…in seconds, all done!

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t know this existed.
AS soon as I have my sites transfered I’ll add this.
There’s a hub between me and the host that’s been down for a day now and I can’t access my new host until either traffic is rerouted of the server is fixed.
Grrr.
