Vegan Momma’s Seven Tips on Blogging Successfully And Other News….
Thomas - Technical Blogger included the second part of my interview over at his lovely virtual home. He asked me a question…
5 - You receive quite a bit of positive feedback concerning your blogs, what suggestions do you have for other bloggers?
And I answered him it was a long answer and to be truthful I deleted some of what I had written simply because it was so long but if you think about it there are many ways that you can make your website a positive experience to your readers, and I’m always finding ways that I can improve so I imagine if someone would ask me that later on I would have added things to say. You can find the first part of the interview over at his website. What was the occasion I was the 1,000th Commenter.
In Other News…
Whew! I finally have a few seconds to breathe. I’m amazed that it will soon be Christmas. The time has flown by, hasn’t it? I’ll be taking a tiny break tomorrow to hang out with my brother, sister-in-law, and nine-month nephew. Of course I’ll be hanging out with my daughter. also. You know what? I still need to pick up something for my nephew since I know he has everything under the soon I will be buying a gift card for him. They can get what is best for him.
The holiday has been a great season for my business, and I’ve been busier than ever, receiving orders, creating products, and shipping them out. My MacBook Pro will be accompanying me tomorrow. As a business owner I always keep the lines of communication open so yes that means that my work extends well past the typical 9 to 5 and yes I do work on holidays. I work more now than I ever did in the corporate setting and you know what? It’s ok. I can work from home and I’m working for myself. I love it.
Recently with the freelance writing projects I’ve acquired I realized (even more) the importance of always being able to connect with people if possible sure I have my backup plan modem (I use DSL) but what if that fails? Well, I had that happen for a few hours this past week which caused a delay of my submitting articles by about eight hours. I don’t like delays. I’ve been holding off purchasing the Verizon wireless card but I’m not doing that anymore. I’ll be adding that this coming week. I won’t need it a lot but if I do it’s there.
Question: Any plans for Christmas Eve?

Well, we were planning on finishing the drive home, but we’re already there. So, now, our oldest daughter and her boyfriend will be coming over for a Christmas Eve evening meal like most years. They’re coming from Ft. Smith - probably for about the last time. She finished her training there quite some time ago and was waiting for a position to open somewhere in the company. We figured she’d be going out of state. However, she found out earlier this week that she is getting sales manager of the womens department of the company’s largest store in Arkansas. Normally, new sales managers get childrens or homewares - not the largest department in the store. She’ll have 3 supervisors under her and about 15 to 20 sales associates. The store is in the Little Rock area. We go there fairly often and now we’ll have another good reason to go. So, I guess there will be a bit of celebration tomorrow.

I actually use the Verizon card. Got fed up with cable & DSL and it’s been trouble free so far.
