Aromatherapy, Herbs, & Essential Oils: Naturally Healing Remedies You Can Create At Home

Posted on December 22nd, 2007 in Aromatherapy, Personal by Vegan Momma

If you’ve been reading my website for any length of time you know I’m a huge fan on natural healing. Aromatherapy (a way to heal our bodies by using essential oils) and herbs are the first things I reach for when it comes to taking care of my body.

Essential oils (highly concentrated plant essences) are also ingredients I use regularly within my cleaning products. Aromatherapy is part of my daily lifestyle. I enjoy aromatherapy so much I’ve done extensive studying on the topic and have received aromatherapy certifications.

In a recent post, I mentioned that I would be guest posting on a few websites. I’m honored that I have been given this opportunity. I will be guest posting at Face Natural. Similar to my website Healing Yourself Naturally Face Natural focuses on natural remedies when it comes to skin care. You’ve got to love that, right? Check out Face Natural and browse through the informative posts.

I have written about neem before on Vegan Momma, and Healing Yourself Naturally stop by and see what Face Natural has to say about the power of neem. Enjoy!

Questions: Have you ever been a guest blogger? Have you featured a guest blogger on your website? How was the experience?

I think it is wonderful that you are guest blogging on a blog that has interests close to yours. I’m sure it will make a nice collaboration. I’ve never been asked to guest host and since I never seem to run out of blabbing power, I haven’t had to have a guest blogger visit my blog either although I do like the idea of interviewing people every so often.

What a good idea. A better idea is to receive a gift of them ready made - but some of us our just lazy like that!
    Cheers

    teeni,
It’s a great opportunity. I don’t think people necessarily do it because they run out of blabbing power. I know that won’t be the case with me. It’s yet another way that one blogger can introduce a different element within their virtual community. Naturally, if the community likes what the guest blogger is saying they will visit their virtual home.

I believe it is a great experience for everyone involved, and both communities have the potential to gain more readers. Eventually I’ll be adding that feature to Vegan Momma and a few of my other websites. However first on my list is interviews. I contacted a few people last month. It was something I wanted to do last year. I’m finally getting around to completing it.

    Maddy,
LOL, I love making the products. I find it relaxing. :-) You can be on my list of those who receive, ok. ;-)

I truly believe in the olden ways with regard to healing mental or physical illnesses. My favorite book is written by Rochelle Moore (amazon) entitled Aromatheraphy & Herbalism in which she outlines cures for everyday ailments right through to mental illness by using BOTH aromatherapy/herbs/flower recipies and some of the recipies are thousands of years old.

Well done and keep up the good work
