Do You Want To Be A Successful Blogger? Be The Blog
The fabulous Brown Baron aka the finder of free software thoughtfully gave me the Be The Blog Award. I’m honored that he would think of me when passing on this award. Thanks! Are you having a problem with your content being stolen? I know I am. Check out his post Attributor: Track Your Content Across The Web.
I have to agree with Mark (the wonderful creator of the Be The Blog Award award.) Those who are successful at blogging are the people who make the blog their own. You can find Mark at his virtual home, Me And My Drum. Check out his post How To Fix WordPress When It Doesn’t Notify You Of Comments.
There are many people I could name but I’m keeping it small and keeping it to the ones that have been on my mind lately because of various posts they’ve written.
- Pete of My GPS Camera Phone. Check out his post Waterfall Prison
- Forest Parks of Random Forest. Check out his post My Real Intentions
- Sibbia of Seeing is Believing. Check out her post titled The Trial Of Your Life
- Jenny of Jenny Up the Hill. Check out her post It is Well.
- Megan Bayliss owner of the Imaginif Blogging Community. Check out her post What’s A Blog Got To Do With Child Protection?
If you’re looking for fresh ideas that can help make you a successful blogger please check out these bloggers. They are all able to successfully connect with their readers simply by being their blog.
Thanks everyone for being such fabulous bloggers. I enjoy reading what you have to say and I have learned a lot just by visiting your virtual homes.

Thank you so much Opal!
I do try to “Be the Blog” which to me simply means to practice what I preach and write about what matters.
And best yet, I was actually just sitting here trying to figure out why wordpress doesn’t notify me of comments on the new page.
Great way to start my blogging day! Thanks again!

Brown Baron,
You’re more than welcome. I can always count on you to keep my blog looking pretty and I can always get my gaming fix on and lust after tech gadgets simply by dropping by your website. I truly appreciate your website and I hope you are around a long time.
Mark,
I thought it would be appropriate everyone has such great content that I thought I should point out to my readers the way you all give back to your readers.
Sibbia,
You are more than welcome. I usually stop by your website first thing in the morning or late in the evening. Your posts are positive and always bring a smile to my face.
I’ve been having that problem also with WP. I’m going to try to update all my blogs today. A few of my blogs had comments for days before I responded even here on Vegan Momma. I simply wasn’t receiving them by email.

That is a slick looking award and I know just who deserves it. I feel an award post coming soon. Congrats to the other recipients!

Congratulations to you Opal and congratulations to us to whom you have shared your award. Thank you.
Paul and I were just discussing last night the parameters of making a blog successful - is it hits, comments, rankings, etc. I love your analysis that being your blog makes a blog successful.
Thank you Opal. As I said in my post, you are a diamond. Mxxx

pete,
You definitely deserve it. I truly appreciate your website. Mark is very talented! I have a few more awards to give out. I’m going to try and knock them out before I am away for the holidays.
teeni,
I like connecting my cool buddies with equally cool blog pals.
Thomas,
Thanks! At times I do get burned out and have no idea what I want to say. I’ve been experiencing that lately thankfully work is slowing down. When I don’t have anything to say well I won’t blog, lol.
Megan,
I definitely think Mark hit on it with the Be the Blog thing. You definitely bring that to Imaginif and are a perfect example of how you can not only be an excellent blogger but you also show us way we can promote child safety with our children and with those within our communities. Thanks!
Antibarbie,
They all deserve it. It’s hard to pick. :-)
jenny-up-the-hill,
You deserve it. I love your website but that one really spoke to me so I had to share with my readers.
chase,
Thanks so much! All my readers deserve awards.

I am still very shocked that I am getting the attention of some decent writers.
I guess it means I am getting somewhere!
Making money is still an importance to me but being a good and interesting blogger is paramount.
Thanks so muc for linking my post.

I know it’s kinda late but congrats Opal! I really admire people who have successful blogs mainly because there are so many of them out there and for a blog to win an award, that means you’re doing something right…lol. I always think about starting an automotive blog myself, but for some reason i never create one mainly because of the amount of car blogs that already exist.
