Lake Marion: Driftwood
Today’s Photo Hunters topic is “Smelly”. Clicking on the image will take you to a larger photo. This photo was taken this past November while I was on holiday in South Carolina. It was taken right after a heavy rainstorm. We stayed at a condo right on the waterfront. The view was gorgeous. My daughter and I walked on the pier several times daily.
The water had risen very high and the tiny beach that was located on the left hand side was almost completely submerged under water. Although the lake did not have a powerful stench it did have a noticeable smell the rain helped wash some of that funk away! The photo was taken with my Nikon D80. The photo editing was completed in Aperture 1.5.
