Where did the droplets come from? My daughter was watering my flower garden about thirty minutes ago not only did I snap pictures of my lovely daughter I managed to take several pictures of flowers, leaves, grass, etc. covered in droplets. The droplets reminded me of some of the crystal beads that I have occasionally added to purses and various articles of clothing I’ve designed.

Macrophotography: Learning From A Master

This past Tuesday I celebrated my 37th birthday. I ordered the book Macrophotography: Learning From A Master it arrived this afternoon!   The photography is by Gilles Martin and the text was written by Ronan Loaec.

After everyone is asleep tonight I’m going to sit down and start reading it. The book is over 300 pages long and has over 300 photos. Vegetables from my garden

Vegetables from my garden

This past Tuesday I prepared a simple meal with greens, peppers, tomatoes, & yellow onions. The great thing is everything came from my garden. I picked everything moments before I cooked them. I even had fresh sweet corn thanks to my neighbor.

As you can see in this picture above some of the produce wasn’t “perfect”. My garden is organic and although I do spray my garden with an all natural bug repellent I don’t spray my tomatoes.

I have turtles that make the trek from the woods
