Three Day Break

I’m on a three day break. I’m in my second day. The posting over the next few days will be light. I’ll be commenting on other blogs but I’m limiting my online time to three hours.
I had already mentioned I would be doing this to Thomas - Technical Blogger and I think I might have mentioned it to Beth. My birthday is tomorrow. I’ll be 37 although I don’t make a big to do about celebrating my birthday (it’s just another day to me) I have started recognizing celebrations because of my daughter.
Yesterday I was only online for about thirty minutes and that was to follow up to see if I had any customer emails. Thankfully I didn’t. That was fortunate for me because well… read my article There And Back Again: Eliminating The Common Cold Naturally on Healing Yourself Naturally to get an idea of why it was good that I didn’t have to do a lot of work.
Upcoming Purchases
I haven’t bought Halo 3 yet. I’ll be picking it up towards the end of this week actually I’ll be purchasing the Raynox DCR-250 lens either today or tomorrow thanks to the suggestion of Beth of Eclectic Studio Cafe. It will give me practice before I move on to the Nikon 105mm.
Today I’ll be heading to the sauna for a few hours and then my daughter and I are spending the entire day together just like we did yesterday. I have a lot of energy today which is fabulous because I need all I can to keep up with my daughter.
Happy Birthday to Jenny!
I logged onto Jenny-up the Hill website a few moments ago and I realize we are very close with our birthdays. Jenny’s birthday is today. Being the thoughtful person that she is she decided to share gifts with her readers. You can find out about it in Gifts For You! Happy Birthday Jenny!
Question: Is your birthday no biggie or a big deal? What do you usually do on your birthday?

Hi there! I left a Birthday Wish on Facebook for you the other day! As I will here…HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope it’s a nice one!
As for me…birthdays aren’t that big of a deal for me…I always celebrated my birthday late when I was younger due to the fact my father was usually out of town. We did a “dinner”. We still do that and it’s nice to get together but it’s still delayed…better late than never, eh? ;)

I never really celebrated birthdays until I met my husbands family. Birthdays are really big with them. And of course for Chaela… :) I guess I can say Happy Birthday !! now and tomorrow. :)

Happy Birthday, almost!
Are you sufferring from withdrawal from the lack of internet? It’s a good thing to take a break and limit your time, it helps you focus on the family.

Harmonia,
I’ll have to check it out. I rarely go on Facebook.
Beth Ellen,
If I didn’t have my daughter there are many celebrations I would not be doing.
Jenny,
That sounds like my birthday. A few years I’ve actually forgotten it was my birthday.
Calamity,
I felt better later that day. I wrote about that at Healing Yourself Naturally along with what I used. ;-)
Erica,
Thanks!
I didn’t go through any withdrawals. I know when to disconnect. That’s is one thing I do make time for my family. I do work for myself and a lot of my work is done on the computer so I do have to check in.

@Beth - You know, my wife doesn’t really celebrate birthdays either. What’s up with that!? You gotta go out and do something out of the norm ya know!!!

Happy Birthday, Opal.
Our granddaughter, Ciera, had her birthday today, she’s 5 - and too far away.
Wishing you the best!

Hi Opal! I had heard you mention what day your birthday was on a few days ago and I already planned and have your birthday post programmed into the auto post feature.
I am not normally a big celebrator of birthdays - as you said it is just another day and I don’t think they should be overly stressed - everyone has a day they were born on. But that is hard to impress on a child who may see other children celebrating so I can understand wanting to do something for their sakes. So I see you will be 37. Still a young’un but catching up to me! But actually I’ve started counting backwards again so my number is lower than yours now. LOL.
I hope you are having a wonderful three day break!

Bush,
I know! I know! Yeah I tend to sit on things, lol. I’ll be purchasing it some time this week. I have a feeling if I purchased it I would be tempted to play it and that would throw that three hour disconnect out the window, lol.
Mike Goad,
Yeah another October baby! :-) It’s hard when you are far away from your loved ones.
teeni,
Yeah that’s why I do it for her. As a child my parents (mainly my mom) did not want to celebrate too many holidays and although we didn’t suffer in my little mind it would have been nice.
I think I’ll be a person that always tell people my age, lol. I think it will shock them how energetic I am. ;-)
