I checked my fuzzbutts out and Mr. Hanuman is currently tipping the charts at a little over five pounds. That’s large for a ferret.

If you haven’t checked out that post and are interested you can read about it in my post titled Fed Ex Nightmares and USPS Dreamscapes. In my post I wrote that I would be calling the local shipping facility on Monday. I did exactly that.

Vegetable Wrap: Hummus Wrapped with lettuce

Hummus wrapped with leafy green lettuce

Who knew that something so simple could taste so good? I did which explains why I made it. This is simply hummus wrapped with leafy green lettuce. I usually have fruit as my first meal of the day; however, yesterday I decided that I wanted some greens. This is what I came up with. My daughter loved it and had three of these wraps. I’m happy the greens (collards and kale) are ready to be picked so that means I don’t have to purchase anymore greens from the store. Sweet! I’ll post the recipe on The Raw & The Cooked later today.

So, I Must Be A Millionaire?

Millionaire Potential

Alright I’m not a millionaire yet but according the survey that Catherine Lawson mentioned I have a good chance of being one. I discovered Catherine Lawson’s website last week, and I promptly added her to my blogroll simply because I liked what she was writing about.

As a business owner, and a person determined to continue being successful I believe a lot of what she writes about is, I think, plain common sense or maybe it’s not? Regardless of whether it is or isn’t. I like her writing style.

I was first introduced to her website thanks to her post titled Lazy B….. And The Truth About Luck In Business. I had to agree with everything she wrote about. Usually, I do believe we create our own luck and it’s directly related to how much we are willing to work to achieve our goals.

I’ve had my own business for about six years. I worked part-time most of the years. This coming December will mark one year that I’ll have been working for myself full-time. I believe I will celebrate. Then again I celebrate daily that I work for myself.

My last job was an incentive for me not to work for anyone else again. My direct boss was very incompetent and brought her own personal problems into the work environment.

I didn’t like that since I usually was caught up in drama that she created. Although I liked the job, I definitely did not like dealing with someone that had such an unprofessional attitude. I left that job ten months after I started. I’ve never done that before.

That experience was an incentive for me to get off my butt and focus completely on my own business. Frankly I was tired of working for someone else I wanted to invest all that time into my business. I’ve always known that eventually, I would work for myself full-time. That’s been a goal since I was a child. Money does not drive me to be successful I truly enjoy what I do, and I know it’s apparent to my customers.

I have received a lot of referrals because they were happy not only with their product but the fabulous customer service they received. I think outside the box when it comes to my business, and I do things that most people, within my same line of work don’t do. That sets me apart.

Am I a millionaire yet? No, I believe I will be.
