Dang, Quit Tagging Me Already!
The evil darklord which is Jon has decided to torment me by tagging me in his This is How My Computer Desktop Looks meme . Aright so I’m not showing some hot person like he is on his website! Yeah it’s boring. :-)
If it looks unfamiliar to some of you that’s because I’m on a Mac. More specifically a 17″ MacBook Pro. Clicking on the photo will take you to a larger picture as you can see I’ve labeled the applications that I always see upon Startup. I use them every single day.
Okay so maybe Jon isn’t so evil and is actually a very nice blogger that I’ve written about before. The most recent post was Jonesing For A Tech Fix And A Quick Shout Out. Stop by his website and check out what he has to offer.

How in the world did I meet Bush? Why through the lovely and talented Beth of course. Other than the fact that I always think (G.W) Bush when I think of his first name he’s a great guy with a contagious smile. I cannot remember who went to whose website first but Beth is one of my favorite blog buddies. She takes lovely photos. I’m always blown away by her photography pictures that at times I forget she is also does pottery also. I’ve met a great blog buddy with Beth. As much as I enjoy reading peoples blogs I also like getting to know about the person behind the blog also.
Thomas - Technical Blogger
My favorite Microsoft Guy in the universe. I make a point to stop by Thomas spot a few times per week. I enjoy his mix of technical, gaming, and a few personal shots of his every day life. He doesn’t talk down to people and is warm and friendly. Get comfortable, loosen your belt, and prepared for a full course buffet when you stop by his place. Thomas brings new flava to technology. My Desktop Free View Instruction:
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
You can do a screen capture by: [1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). [2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V). [3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.
For MAC users: Press [ Apple] [ Ctrl ] [ Shift ] and [ 3 ]
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

Hi Vegan Momma! I can see from your title how you dislike being tagged but thanks for taking part in this. :lol:
Mac is nice for coming up with widgets like that lined up a the bottom of your screen. It saves you the trouble of placing too many shortcuts on your desktop.
In case you’re interested, I’m keeping a list, to the best of my tracking ability, of those people participating. You may want to check it out from time to time. thanks for the free view. :D

Yeah I thought it was appropriate. ;-) It usually takes me a long time to get these completed but I managed to complete it on the same day. I should receive some type of award for that! Come to think of it no thanks in the blogging world people usually post the awards they receive. I stink at that also.

I didn’t use to mind as much but these days yeah not too fond of the tag. The highlight was being tagged eight times in one day that was a few months ago.
Yes Mac is nice with the widgets and a whole lot of other things. I love the widgets. My desktop gets cluttered when I take snapshots. I take them several times daily and remove them at the end of the day.

Even though I don’t partake in Mems, I’m glad you didn’t pick me because I can’t show my desktop. It’s not appropriate. You know with all that nudity and all.
Besides, my desktop cam is usually on all the time, except when I’m working on top secret stuff. :roll:

LOL, you are hilarious! Of course you are fabulous.
Well I never was impressed with the way most people just link to others in a meme. If you market the person you are linking to I think your readers are more likely to click since you are “selling” the person you are linking to. That’s why I always include more than information than their name/website.
I didn’t want to be like everyone else so hence the intro it’s just another way I think outside the “blogger box”.
