YouTube is working. I never heard of Food For Life until a few moments ago. Food For Life is the world’s largest vegetarian relief organization. According to their website they serve over 700,000 vegetarian meals daily. Food For Life operates in over fifty countries.

I was happy to learn that Food For Life’s headquarters are based right here in Maryland. In the next few weeks I’ll be following up with Food For Life to see if I can do anything to assist.

I’ve been volunteering at a local homeless shelter for several years.  I was pleasantly surprised and happy that they offered their guests a vegetarian option as one of their meal choices.

The farmers within my area are very generous and many of the fresh produce that were prepared at meal times came from these local farms and yes quite a few of the guests chose the vegetarian meal.  Many people, regardless of their income, are concerned about their health.

YouTube Is Down

Alright I just attempted to log onto YouTube to get my fix on yummy vegan videos. I’ve been on a vegan food show kick recently. YouTube is currently down.

YouTube first came on the scene in February 2005 and has quickly grown into one of the most popular video sharing websites out there. Last year the Big G (Google) bought YouTube for 1.65 billion dollars.

I hope they are back online soon. I’ve found numerous videos relating to vegan cuisine, raw food, and animal rights. I’ve found other sources for videos like Blinx.

Question: What online video websites do you use? What are your favorite videos?
