What Will You Do If Disaster Strikes?

Posted on August 7th, 2007 in Family by Vegan Momma

This is a sponsored post.

A few days ago I was given the opportunity to write this review, and I happily accepted it since I feel people really need to plan for their future. I took my time reviewing AxcessPoints, and I have to say that I’m impressed with the services they offer.

What would you do if disaster struck your home? Have you made plans? What about your insurance information, emergency contacts, financial information would you be able to access your information? Hmm, What will I do if disaster strikes?

We live in a fast paced past society, at times, managing your information can be challenging and that is under normal circumstances. How about if disaster strikes? Are you prepared?

AxcessPoints-Monthly-Drill

This is what my account looks like when I log onto AxcessPoints. I was very impressed with what they had to offer so I decided to join.

They have a variety of newsletters to choose from, and I’ve chosen to receive the Monthly Drill. They will send me an email once a month. This will remind me to go over my plans. If the unfortunate should happen and disaster strikes AxcessPoints is there.

AccessPoints-Emergency-Toolikit

An Interactive Emergency Toolkit

This is the beginning page of my Emergency Toolkit Calculator. The calculator will assist me in making sure that I’m adequately prepared if a disaster should strike.

I can also share this with family members or trusted advisers. In sharing my list with someone, I trust I’m assured that things are taken care of if something should happen to me.

AccessPoints-Virtual-Library

If disaster should strike and you’re enrolled at AxcessPoints you will be able to gain access to a variety of different articles that will assist you in learning about disasters that you could possibly face. You’ll also learn how to prepare your house, your family, and your finances.

There is also a section that will assist you in knowing what to do during the event. You’re also supplied with information that discusses how to recover from the disaster. You’ll be able to read the lessons learned from survivors, and you also have access to a legal corner.

My Fitness Pal (clicking on the picture will take you to a larger image)

Yes I know it’s Tuesday but I didn’t have a chance to post this yesterday. I thought I would include what I’ve eaten for yesterday as you can see I didn’t eat much. I’m not trying to lose weight but now and again my body says, “Hey I need a break!”  I listen.

If you notice the majority of my meals were liquid? The watermelon was actually watermelon juice and the cabbage carrots, and the onion was actually an eggroll but they didn’t have what I wanted so I decided to list the ingredients. The carrot juice wasn’t canned it was raw. The recipe is simple it’s only carrots after all. I posted it at The Raw & The Cooked.

Overall I like MyFitnessPal, if you remember this was actually a sponsored review that I wrote about a little while ago but like anything I review for money I do it because I genuinely like the service.

Off To The Gym

Today I’ll be heading to the gym early so I’ll definitely be adding the exercises I do. I’ve been working out since I was a child. I feel guilty if I miss a workout. I rarely miss. If I cannot get to the gym, which lately has been happening a lot I will work out at home.

Stay tuned you’ll be seeing videos of some of the exercises I do at home sometime this fall. I’m currently working on a format now. No you don’t have to pay it’s free. I’ll walk you through every exercise, and the cost to do the exercise at home is minimal; in fact, frequently you won’t have to purchase anything just use what you have at the home.

I used to train others in the gym, and recently I’ve been thinking about picking up a few clients. Hmm, I guess I should wait until I have more time, eh?

Come Join The Fun!

I’m going to try to post my screenshots a few times each week. I know a few of you mentioned that you were signing up for the service, and I mentioned to Harmonia that we should do a MyFitnessPal Friday check in. What about it? I know Harmonia is game anyone else?
