Lack of posting = Drop in traffic

Traffic Drops if I Don’t Post
Why is that a big deal? If you remember I recently started monetizing my personal websites. I started to take them seriously. What I’ve learned is that my traffic is dependent on me posting often. I know, I’ve taken a break before and my traffic suffered. My websites aren’t at the point where they get a massive amount of traffic even if I’m away for a length of time.

They do receive a nice amount of traffic, but I still have a way to go since I know that my websites are dependent on me updating often. How do I know? I know I check my stats daily. I’ve tested it also occasionally I’ve cut down on posting or I haven’t posted at all. My stats reflect this and have shown a slight dip in traffic.

Talk to Me. I’m listening.

Mentor Listening to mentee

I chose this picture because it makes a good point. We all need to spend more time listening to what others have to say. A few months ago we had a meeting with all the mentees in our organization. It was titled “Mean Girls.” We had an expert come in to talk to the girls about ways they could resolve conflict.

We discussed ways they could avoid fighting, or getting into fights. I was disappointed listening to some of the mentor’s responses because they weren’t listening. The reality is that these kids won’t always be able to walk away from an altercation. What then?
