My Alexa Ranking is below 100k
The goal I originally set for myself the beginning of May has been reached. My Alexa Ranking is now below 100k it’s currently at 96,986. A few days ago it was 102, 248 it dropped by 5,262 points. At the beginning of May, I was close to 2m. I’ve been documenting my progress since I know some have been curious you can read about it here.
My traffic has steadily increased here at Vegan Momma along with my other two websites which I haven’t promoted at all. Although my traffic might seem “small” too many I’m happy with my increase in numbers not only here but y other two websites since April my numbers have picked up a lot and guess what everyone usually starts at the same place, not a lot of traffic.
You have to build from something. I really haven’t promoted the other websites, but their rankings are continuing to drop, and I’m receiving more traffic course I’m pleased about that.
What happened? I started getting serious about my websites and actually paid attention to what I was putting up on my personal websites. I started taking my personal blogging just as seriously as my own business. Imagine that?
Over the past month I’ve done a lot of work on my websites and I think it’s starting to pay off I’m actually enjoying blogging again for a while I wasn’t liking it too much. Which was hard because I enjoy blogging/writing. It’s something I do every single day.
I’ve scheduled several advanced posts for the upcoming week for my websites just if something happen where I cannot post at least I’ll still have scheduled content being published. I don’t forsee that happening, but it’s good to be prepared.
Question: Have you ever gotten tired of blogging/writing. If so what did you do?
I hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day.
Blessings,
-Opal

Hey Opal, haven’t gotten tired of blogging/writing yet. But of course, I’m still too new to the whole thing to have gotten tired so soon. I could see it happening though if my rankings don’t continue to get better. But once I hit “the wall”, I hope I pound right through it!

Alexa ranking… have no idea what that is…
as for getting tired of blogging. I think I love it too much, spend way too much time at it. Started out blogging as a way to vent, considering I can’t share my feelings with the people in my industry. If you could make money blogging, it would be great. But there are too many things going on in the world to ever get tired of commenting on.
Congrats on your Alexa rating, whatever that is.. :-)
P.S. I do the same thing with advance posts.. esp. if I know I’m going to be busy.

Link in the post is broken.
I don’t know why mine is so slow in dropping. I’m posting like crazy too.
I guess I’m just to boring lately huh?

Congratulations! :) That’s a huge milestone. Most people in Australia don’t use alexa so I don’t have the chance to really get decent rankings on it. ;(
I haven’t got tired of it yet.. :)

I dont have a decent alexa ranking since I shifted to wordpress and I rarely pay attention to it. But I also noticed that my Alexa ranking is going down which is a good thing. It was really funny coz on my previous blog i had this 26,000 ranking and when I shifted to wordpress I got around 1million. I was so shocked!

Congratulations! You’ve joined a tiny percentage of bloggers who stick with it at all, let alone crack the top 100k on Alexa! Good for you!

Mine dropped below 100K the other day too! And it felt good, didn’t it :)

When I check my stats and curves in alexa they don’t tally at all.
Sometimes it just looks like luck.
