Organizing has paid off!

Posted on June 30th, 2007 in Personal by Vegan Momma

Clip art: Organization tools I’m anal when it comes to organizing. I always have a back up plan its good practice and having that approach has helped me often when the original plan didn’t work for whatever reason.

I’m really eagerly awaiting vacation next week. We’ll be heading out early Monday morning. I’m proud to say that the bulk of my projects has been completed.

The only thing left for me to do is write a few reviews on Vegan Momma, and some advanced posting on a few personal websites.

Advanced Posting
I have most of my advance postings completed for Vegan Momma. (If you’re a WordPress user and busy like myself I would highly recommend that you try out this feature. It’s a lifesaver. I wrote a tutorial here.) I need to write about two days of posts, and I’ll be finished.

I thought it would be a good idea to take full advantage of Word Press advance posting feature if I’m unable to use the modem while I’m away. Although I don’t see myself not checking my websites while I’m away I like to be prepared.

Ferrets Haven was easy I’m basically posting a picture a day with a tiny amount of text for each picture. However, Vegan Momma and The Raw and The Cooked are an entirely different ballgame The Raw & The Cooked will be the most challenging since I snap shots then create a post. It will get completed.

Healing Yourself Naturally
While I’m on vacation I want to do the bulk of my writing at Healing Yourself Naturally. That’s directly related to my studies, Traditional Naturopathy, so although I’m away on vacation I’ll still be studying. I have a few tests and papers that are coming up soon besides I created a new healing tea that I’m thinking about sharing.

Question: Are you a good organizer? What are some things that you do to keep your sanity.

Hi, I’m reading you via the No Nofollow | I Follow | DoFollow Community at Bumpzee, on the RSS feed.

I’m trying to be more anal when it comes to organizing. I have been known to be one of the world’s most disorganized people but I’m making positive changes on the road to being more organized.

Looking forward to reading more from you.

    Snoskred,
    Thanks for stopping by.
When I was a child, I didn’t use to be anal but when I went away to college I changed. It can be difficult, but you can do it by the way I love your review of the Roomba.

I’ve been thinking about purchasing one and I believe your review has me sold. Great job. I tried to post on your website, but Firefox is crashing when I try to post a comment I’ll try posting to your blog in Opera. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you stop back. I’m liking your blog.

Opal, you know with my houseful I have to stay very organized. I don’t think straight when things are out of order. I think my kids are picking up this habit, which is good.

I didn’t now about Healing Yourself Naturally. How do I get there?

I don’t even want to imagine what that must be like. I cannot complain I have it easy compared to you. Then again I’m not a complainer life is too short spending your time whining about what is wrong with your life. I honestly believe that we add to our misery when we spend it being negative. The Secret talks about that it’s amazing that people need to be retaught those basics concepts but that’s where we are today.

    Anyway back on topic…

Healing Yourself Naturally was/is The Raw Review I just changed the url to http://www.healingyourselfnaturally.com The Raw Review was moving towards the natural approach. I liked the title “The Raw Review” however you would never guess it was about naturally healing if you went by the domain name. I needed to change that. I decided to do it early while the site is new instead of waiting until later to make that change. That’s why I purchased the new domain.

I don’t even want to talk about the urls I have, and I honestly use almost every single one. The ones I don’t have been put on hold until a later time but I purchased the domain names so no one else would get them. You might be amazed at how many people think exactly like you when it comes to naming a domain. I had to work for a while before I found a url that I liked the other domains I wanted had already been taken but I like the sound of Healing Yourself Naturally and that’s my baby.

The cool thing is I’m back in school receiving my Masters on Traditional Naturopathy so what I’ll write about there will be things I practice, or new concepts I’m experimenting within my studies.

There are many people out there searching for other ways beside the “modern” forms of treatment I’m hoping that I can do my part to help those who are ready to think outside that narrow little box. I want people to really question the medications they take both over the counter medication and the “prescribed meds”. I’m always amazed at how many people blindly take meds but then I have to realize they have been “taught” not to question it. I could go on and on about the deaths that are caused yearly do to legal drugs, but I’ll save that for Healing Yourself Naturally; however, I will say death by “medicine” is in the top ten list of accidental deaths caused each year.

I don’t have too much content up there yet but I’m already receiving emails from people who have stumbled upon Healing Yourself Naturally.

This vacation will be about taking care of my daughter and myself. I’m relaxing and cleansing. I’ll also be writing after my daughter is asleep.

I honestly enjoy helping others I believe that was what I was born to be a giver.

Naturopathy is amazing. Sad how people don’t even want to give holistic medicine a try. Went to a Naturopath for while, for my Rheumatoid Arthritis, but it was too far a commute, after a while. But I have it totally under control with herbs and supplements. I also got myself into remission with Ulcerative Colitis using herbal protocols after 9 months of using allopathic meds that did nothing.

Good luck with your studying. Have a great vacation!!
