The Lights Went Out & Another Alexa Drop
I couldn’t believe it! I was getting ready to send information to one of my clients. My hand was on the send button, and “wham” the lights went out. I mean what are the odds, really? Gah!
We received a heavy downpour here in Maryland. I know my garden loves it. I snapped photos from the garden about thirty minutes before the lights went out. The zucchini are huge. My daughter was craving “egg rolls” so I made them. I made enough to last for a few days so she is in “roll heaven”.
Guess what the lights finally clicked on about four hours later. I was able to submit the information to my client. I had written a few weeks ago about how dependent I am on modern technology. A lot of my work is dependent on things such as electricity actually working.
I cannot cancel my plans with D tomorrow so I’ll be up very late tonight trying to complete work. Aiyana and I had a blast hanging out. We made a mini movie starring her and one of her stuffed animals “Lacey” I’ll be sending it to family members while I’m on vacation.
Alexa Ranking
It seems that my Alexa Ranking has dropped again it’s now down to 102, 238. I wonder when that happened? It looks as though I might reach my initial goal of getting down below 100k by the beginning of July. I’ll never understand why some advertisers place so much emphasis on Alexa but whatever.

Hi Andy,
I agree I mentioned that in my last post about Alexa.
However, it is impressive for me, not the Alexa, but the traffic increase. It started increasing when I took my personal blog more seriously that started at the beginning of last month. I’ve been documenting Alexa because I was curious how much it would drop.
Even more fascinating, to me, is my two other blogs that I really haven’t promoted through blog trains, memes. My traffic is increasing there also except the dofollow lists I don’t do any other social linking, but I do write a few times each week and one of the websites is all about food. That seems to be popular. :-) .
I’ve met quite a few people on those websites that have found my blogs from a variety of sources.

I had to laugh when it was happening I was thinking “What are the odds?” I had just sent off a report to another client and when I went to submit the information to another one Wham! The lights went out, lol.
