Food, Ramblings, and Alexa Ranking
There hasn’t been too much cooking going around in these parts lately. My meals have been mainly mono meals. What’s a mono meal? Eating one type of vegetable or fruit at a time. I cut up a luscious watermelon a few days ago and have been feasting on that along with snap beans, lettuce, avocado, collards, and blueberries. Except the watermelon and the avocado everything else came from my garden. Talk about delicious.
I’ve been high raw for several years so transitioning to mainly raw was not difficult if I eat something that isn’t raw my body usually tells me. Aiyana has been eating a lot of leafy greens (she’s been on a green kick) along with bean pate’.
Ever wonder why people blindly use medications without a thought to what is actually in the ingredients or the effect they might have on your body? That’s placing a lot of trust in an organization the FDA that I have major problems with. People trust that nothing bad will happen to them. I think the government has far too much control. I don’t trust the FDA and I’m sure not going to blindly trust what they tell me is “ok” to use. More on that topic later.
In other news
My Alexa Ranking is down to 113,301. It was 128,520 a few days ago. It’s dropped by 15,201 points. The funny thing is the Ranking really isn’t that big of a deal to me, but I still post it basically to document my progress to those that are into that sort of stuff. In a sense, it is interesting to see what can be accomplished but yes Alexa Ranking is flawed.
In the future I don’t really see myself doing too many projects that focus on Alexa Ranking or Google PR. If you’ve noticed I haven’t done too many sponsored reviews lately. They have been available but checking over what they had many, I don’t think, fit with my website and the ones I would have done were already taken.
I’m looking into other ways to make money online. I’m on the web a lot with my “regular job” I might as well think of additional sources of income. One such way to earn money is writing articles for various organizations, and getting paid for what I have to say. Wow imagine that? Getting paid for what I have to say. Who would have thunk?
Or doing what I’m already doing monetize my blog through advertisements.
If the review opportunities were like the paid advertisements that are landing on my blog I would write reviews daily. I really like the ads, mostly that are featured here and I can honestly say that I’ve heard about most of them. Many are related to vegan or raw foods but with a few tweaks on my end others have started to find their way to my website.
Over the next few months, I’ll start promoting some of my own work not on this main page, but I’ll have a page set aside for those interested in jewelry or natural skin care products so stay tuned.

Thanks for the comments on my blog!
Funny thing about the mono meals…When I have been doing my Raw Day Mondays I have noticed that Mono Meals is what I have been doing for the more part other than the leftover bean salad. Anyhow…I was going to try and do full dishes and entrees but I don’t know enough…but maybe I don’t need to…hummm…

Well, after I commented I noticed that my Alexa ranking had dropped some more. I’m still submitting to directories so maybe I’ll start to see an even bigger jump next time…
