I’ve talked about MacLife quite a lot recently. This month’s magazine, by far, is the best one I’ve received and that’s saying something. They are all good. Anyway as I was rereading the magazine, a tiny blurb about Tux Paint caught my eye. It’s a drawing program created for kids.
As I type, this message Aiyana is currently painting and is really enjoying her virtual drawing experience. She can create virtual masterpieces. She can save, print, and frame her work if she wants. They also include a stamp that shows penguins so she can give the penguin stamp of approval. The learning curve seems fairly easy. Your child, or the child at heart, will be creating masterpieces in no time.
If you have a child that enjoys drawing I would recommend downloading Tux Paint. Downloading the software is free. If you want a CD it costs $6.99. I finally downloaded it to my (or should I say my daughter’s) HP this morning. It’s compatible with Mac, Windows, Linux, and various other systems.
