Friendly Competition
Good news, I’ll be seeing my brother this weekend! He’ll be traveling to Pennsylvania tomorrow with his job. He’s a vice-president for a leading insurance company. Once his meeting is over he’ll be coming to Maryland for the weekend. The last time I talked to him he made a point of telling me that he hadn’t played any of his Play Station games in a while.
Brother: Have you played any games recently?”
Me: No, I really haven’t had the time.
Brother: Oh, ok (long pause) Perhaps we can… you know play a game.
Me: Yeah sure. Whatever.
I don’t play with him that often he’s very competitive and doesn’t like too lose. I guess it doesn’t help that I rub his nose in it when I kick his butt, does it? I have a feeling that he has been playing Halo 3. In our conversation, he mentioned the game a little too casually.
We’ve always been competitive, in a friendly way, we shared a few of the same classes in school and we pushed each other to excel. We were always supportive of each other. We still are.
However when it comes to games we show no mercy. You’re on your own! I’m looking forward to the chance of hanging out with my brother this weekend and of course kicking his butt. I am older after all. I’ve got to keep him in his place.

I have to say I envy you on this. Silly me, I thought I would get to play the Halo 3 beta because I got an email from microsoft. Then I found out you had to buy the crackdown disc. Then I found out they were no longer offering the code with the disc. Talk about being late to a party. You’ll have to mention, at some, point, how the new version looks and plays.

Hi again! I responded to your comments BUT have posted at least a dozen of new recipes since then…transferring them over from Veggin’ Out…most of them are RAW VEGAN!!!

Are you sure? I went onto xbox live, and it said you have until June to download Halo Beta? I downloaded it on the 16th or 17th of this month. I’ll definitely let you know how I like it. I loved the first one.
