Another beautiful day in Maryland

Rose
It’s another gorgeous day in Maryland. Once my daughter awakens, I’ll be taking her outside. I’m actually surprised that she is still sleeping however she has been very active the past few days. I mean do you blame her not only has she been outside playing but mommy took off almost four days to hang exclusively with her.
We play daily but this was different I spent most of my day with her. That’s pretty hard to do as a business owner but she’s my daughter and she is definitely worth it. Aiyana is hooked on grilling and has been asking me to make grilled veggies every day. I think it’s a fun experience for her and she truly loves eating outside. It’s a good experience for me also and such a fabulous way to bond.
Most of our meals are eaten outside these days. It’s a wonderful way to relax, talk, and just enjoy bonding with each other and communicating with nature.
What’s on the menu today? Raw veggie wraps, homemade veggie burgers both raw & cooked. The raw burgers will be made in my dehydrator. I’ll also be making Rosemary garlic fries. Those are my daughters favorite type of fries. I would have used sweet potatoes, but I don’t have in the garden, yet we harvested quite a lot last year.
We have new neighbors in our front yard a mommy bird has artfully hidden her nest in one of my flower bushes I pointed it out to Aiyana yesterday I’ll try to take a picture today.

All sounds good. Lovely rose. We have a few rose bush’s in the front yard but far from budding yet. We are so slow here in WI. There is a chickpea burger I really like to have once in awhile. I just pulled out the recipe the other day.

Harmonia,
I know Aiyana will love it. I hope the cats don’t find the baby birds.
Beth,
I love roses I cannot say they are my favorite flower, but they surely are beautiful.
I love chickpea, and I use them in a variety of dishes. Occasionally I sprout them. I’ve been thinking of planting some of them in my garden.
I’ve always wanted to visit Wisconsin.

Rosemary garlic fries. Wow, that sounds good. Beth Ellen mentioned WI. I lived there once, in Milwaukee. Only place in my entire life that I had to wear ear muffs. COLD.
Opal, I responded to your comment on my “groundhog” post, but I forgot to ask about the url for your ferret site. I’d love to see them if you have pics online. If I ever get Chloe’s site up and running again (probably this time as a blog), I’ll show you pics of her. I applaud you on your ability to manage four ferrets. Just the one I have is all I can manage.
Oh, you should definitely watch Matrix Revolutions. I won’t give you any spoilers but its worth it.

Tim,
They’re very good my daughter loves them. I imagine she would eat them several times a week if I made them. ;)
My poorly neglected website can be found here.

I miss it up your way. I was born and raised in Virginia just outside of DC. Florida is great, don’t get me wrong, but the plants and flowers of the mid-Atlantic coast just say “home” to me.
