Whew!  That was a lot of work. I just got finished steam cleaning my carpets. I do it a few times each year.

I usually pretreat the carpets with a water based solution that has essential oils added to it. It sure makes the carpet and the entire house smell lovely. I like the scent. It’s not heavily laden with chemicals. It’s light, natural, and does an excellent job of deodorizing the carpets and sanitizing the air.

The dirt that I see coming from the cleaner always amazes me. The water is a brown muddy color.  Err gross!

Aiyana is apprehensive of the steam cleaner.  She was perched on the steps that leads up to the third floor. She quietly watched and pointed out areas that I needed to clean.  Hmph!

I’m definitely glad that is finished.
