I’ve had an extra copy of OS Tiger laying around. I’ve had it ever since I purchased the Power Mac G5 for my father. He still loves it. Not being too familiar with Mac’s I didn’t know if the Powermac G5 came with this already installed.

The lady who assisted me with the order (I called the Apple store to make sure the refurbished Mac was available) was confused and thought I needed it. Imagine my surprise when I set everything up. (A simple matter of connecting the cables and plugging everything in.)

Guess what? Tiger was already installed.

Aren’t they talented? This past Tuesday I decided to have a craft day for my mentees. I brought in glass beads, amethyst, rose quartz, and a few brightly colored plastic beads for my girls. I told them our project was to create bracelet and earrings. During our discussion I encouraged them to think of something they were interested in and to take the steps needed to learn all about it.

My daughter is extremely excited. Why? A few days ago I mentioned that we would be going on a few plane rides this year. The first trip will be to visit my brother and sister in law in Connecticut. A few weeks ago they adopted a baby boy. He’s almost two months old.

I’m really enjoying working outside. Aiyana is happily riding her bike as I get some work completed. She’s in plain view so I can see whatever she’s doing. Of course I’m taking regularly breaks to hang out with my little princess. Is it a wonder why it take me so long to get my work completed? I wouldn’t have it any other way. I truly enjoy working from home and enjoying these years with her. It’s truly a gift.
