My Alexa ranking has dropped for all three of my sites. It became obvious fairly early that Alexa has it’s flaws but quite a few companies still use it. I see Alexa ranking with pay per post type companies.  If your ranking is low you’ll receive higher paying opportunities.

The Raw & The Cooked
1,146,530 —> 926,917 dropped 220,013 points

The Raw Review
1,115,141 —> 991,603 dropped 123,538 points

Do you see the change? The Raw & The Cooked is now lower than The Raw Review! I figured it would. As I mentioned in a prior post I’ve done some marketing with The Raw & The Cooked which might explain the drop. I updated The Raw Review this morning. I haven’t done any marketing for that site.

As I’ve mentioned in prior post The Raw & The Cooked & The Raw Review are my new websites. I opened their virtual doors earlier this month. The Raw & The Cooked wasn’t even ranking for over a week. At the time, aside from moving recipe files to the website, I wasn’t doing anything to publicize it. The Raw Review ranked at a little over 3 million after one day of going live.

I believe those two websites, for the most part, will pull a different audience judging by the posts I’ve received and the emails I’ve gotten my readers are interested in changing their health or are already health conscious. I like that as much as I like talking about regular stuff I really enjoy speaking & writing about nutrition and of course I love creating recipes & sharing them with others.
