Oil

Oil Drum
This has always been on our property since we’ve lived here. Do you know at times I’ve thought about adding some type of flower to the top of the drum? I don’t since part of me likes it just the way it is.
Whenever I look at this big ole drum I’m instantly transported to my childhood. You see I was a daddy’s girl. I still am. I was his shadow.
When I was a teenager My father taught me simple car maintenance. I told him I didn’t want to be one of those women stuck on some deserted road and not having a clue what to do with my car. I said, “Teach me dad! He did. He taught me how to change the oil on my car, change tires, change my oil, and many other car maintenance things.
I now use Triple A’s roadside service but I’ve never had to use it. I keep my car maintained and so far it hasn’t let me down.
Thanks dad for all your wisdom/assistance you’ve given to me throughout the years. It’s truly appreciated.
