Moving on Up

I’m pretty proud of my business. I remember in the beginning it was a struggle. I was trying to turn something I did for myself, friend, & family into a profitable business. Although I had read numerous books on starting your own business and talked to many of my entrepreneur friends in many cases it didn’t prepare me for actually doing it.
One of the first things I did was to pull my credit report. There were certain things I needed like an online merchant account that based your approval on your credit.
Guess what? My first year as a business owner was extremely tough! I was working out of the home full-time in the corporate world. My job had me travelling bimonthly to Manhattan, Los Vegas, and occasonially Michigan. I conducted trainings for our nursing staff.
The money was coming in for the orders that had been placed the only problem was I needed to complete those orders. It was a challenge to keep up with my orders and make my customers feel special and truly they are but I managed.
I’ve been thinking about purchasing a business credit card. I already have a business checking/savings account right from the start. I did that when I incorporated my business almost five years ago.
As with anything I’ve been researching the various companies. I want the best one suited for me. During my check I noticed inaccurate information appearing on my credit report. I was able to get the information deleted.
Question: Has anyone ever had incorrect information appearing on their report or do you know someone who has? What was done about it?

I don’t like services like this but unfortunately some people will have no other option. I honestly think the charge unnecessarily high rates when people are in need of instant cash. I would advise people to put 10% a month away in a current account and dip into that when needed. If you can’t afford that then speak to your bank for a one off temporary overdraft. If it happens each month then you should re-evaluate your finances.
