Affordable Delivery ~ MaternityCard
This is a sponsored post.
At times it’s hard to believe that Aiyana will be turning four on May 21st. You know at times it feels like yesterday when she was delivered. I did something “Radical” at least my parents thought so. I delivered her in a free standing birth center. My health insurance is excellent so everything was covered. I had a variety of programs to choose from. Of course I went for the holistic approach. I got exactly what I wanted.
My cousin had her son two months later. She delivered in a hospital. Her husband has an excellent job so she did not have the need for additional Maternity Health Insurance. Having a baby can be extremely expensive. Maternity Savings has a program called MaternityCard. They offer a lot of features for their clients.

We had a birth center here about ten years back. It was in this sweet old Victorian house, kind of like a B&B with babies. Unfortunately it closed a few years ago due to lack of funding. It’s a shame.

Liesl,
The same thing happened with my Birthing Center. It used to be an old mansion. I loved my birth experience. I always thought I would be able to take my daughter back so she could see the midwives that delivered her. Unfortunately that never happened.

I am not very motherly…I know nothing about being a mom or child birth other than the pain! lol but I have been intruged by water babies/births. Of course I would love to hear more about holistic births…I will check it out. Thanks!

Harmonia,
I knew nothing about being a mom either and look at me now? ;-) I labored in the jacuzzi for several hours. I also used the birthing ball & stool. Aiyana was born in a big canopy bed.
