Soothing & Beautiful ~ Indoor Fountains
This is a sponsored post.
I was happy when I received an offer to review indoor fountains. I love them. I have two tabletop fountains. When I worked in the corporate world I kept one in my office. I found the trickling water to be very soothing. It was perfect.
At times my job was extremely stressful and listening to something as simple as a trickling waterfall was very soothing. As I would listen to my fountain I would think about the great times my daughter and me had hanging out at the stream which is located on our property.
I love the wall fountains. I’ve started seeing them more in the high end business I’ve frequented a few of them were branded with their corporate label.
You know what would be great? Having one of the indoor fountains in my bedroom and another in the family room. What a way to unwind, eh? It will also aid in blocking out white noise. When my daughter was younger I would keep my tabletop fountain on. When she took a nap during the day it helped mask the background noise.
Indoor Fountains online offers fountains in a variety of designs and materials. What are my favorites? I personally like the rock and stainless steel fountains. If you were to purchase an indoor fountain which would you pick?

I used to have a great indoor fountain that I kept near some house plants. It helped raised the humidity in that area and the plants loved it. But now with two small children (ages 4 & 2) who want to destroy everything in my house, I had to put it away.

Harmonia,
You’re right!
Anthony,
LOL, My daughter will be 4 years old on May 21st. I know what you mean about wanting to destroy everything.
I had to put most of my valuables away. The last moderately expensive item she “touched” was my Canon A70.
Yep it can be challenging with active children around. Surprisingly she was ok with the fountain. That was a shock!

Now you got me thinking about Feng Shui again…might have to get back into it! I think it would go lovely with my yoga attempts!

My daughter is 4 and when she sees any fountain, indoor or outdoor, she stops her frantic movement and calms down. Water makes me feel good, she has said to me. Even her wild and crazy kiddy energy is tamed by a tinkling fountain.

Opal, Canon A70? Ouch! I feel you pain. Although I might have you beat. You should have seen the Sears repairman’s face when I told him that my dishwasher door was bent off the hinges like that because my son used it as a diving board. :)
Angie, if her kiddie energy is tamed by tinkling fountain, think about what a firehose would do. :)

Anthony,
You definitely have me beat but that is something my daughter would try. Thankfully that has not happened yet.
