One of my friends goes on at least two hawaiian vacations yearly. He bought a condominium on one of the islands several years ago being the generous guy that he is he lets other family members use the place when they go on vacation. Naturally most of them make a trek there yearly since it’s their place is paid for.

They’re hatching!

Earlier this morning Aiyana and I found two egg sacs.  They were praying mantis eggs. Aiyana spotted one of the little cuties hanging out on her “kitchen set. He was so tiny. I quickly rescued him and set him free on the butterfly plant.

The praying mantis congregate their. I imagine because the butterflies love the plant so it’s  perfect spot for the predators.  I’ve actually seen them catching the butterflies.  They sure are fast.

If you love cooking you might want to check out CookingSpot.com. It’s an online recipe database that covers a large variety of cuisine. I was happy to see a nice listing of vegetarian recipes. I didn’t see raw foods on the list. Perhaps that is something that could be added. There are a lot of raw foodist out there.

I cannot believe it’s still early!

It feels a lot later than 9:43 a.m. I’ve been awake since 4 something. I’m usually up by 5:00. Aiyana and I have already been outside this morning. In fact we are getting ready to rush back out. It’s to beautiful to stay inside.

I have some work to do but I’ll wait until later to complete it. Thankfully I’ll be able to work outside today. Times likes these I truly love my wireless connection. My MacBook Pro usually stays in my bedroom so I’m usually wireless.

I also would like books that showcase photographers work.
