Traveling to Jersey ~ Destination Jersey City

Posted on May 14th, 2007 in Travel by Vegan Momma

This is a sponsored post.

When I worked in the corporate world I traveled to Jersey quite often. I would regularly fly into NYC for meetings. During the day I had meetings & trained our nursing staff in and around downtown Manhattan and in the evenings I hung out with my boyfriend, at the time, mainly in Jersey.

I’m planning to take my daughter to New Jersey later this year so I’m on Destination Jersey City planning what we are going to do when we get there.

Go on! Meet your virtual neighbors!

Alexa Image I saw this at MacBros Place and decided that I would participate. How did I used to meet newbies? Through my blogging pals blog. Actually I’m still meeting them that way. Check out my sidebar on the lower right hand side a good number were met through my blogging buddies.

My dogs ~ Mr. Bentley & Lalita

Mr. Bentley & Lalita

Last year when Mr. Bentley came to live with us on a full-time basis he had an annoying habit that Lalita, my fur girl, could not stand. What was that habit? Saying hello! Ok so saying hello is no big deal right? Well you don’t know how he said it.

Mr. B would give her a nice long sniff. Lalita, of course being the little diva, would go ballistic whenever he did this. He totally pulled her out of character. My sweet little diva turned into a raging ball of fluff.

She would growl a him, snap at whatever doggy part was in biting range, and literally chase him down. Did that deter Mr. B? NOOO he would always go back for one more sniff.

You want to know something? She lets him do it now. I guess its no big deal anymore or perhaps she just tolerates it?

Web Maintenance Weekend

Spider on Web

This past weekend I worked on my websites. Websites? Yes, I have several. How many websites do I have? Two personal and one business website. Currently I have twelve domains and they are distributed between the three.

If you’ve been checking out my blog over the past few weeks you know I’ve been writing briefly about advertising, Google PR, & Alexa ranking. I’m hoping I dont turn any of my readers off with my recent additions (sponsored reviews which are clearly marked) and a few ads tossed on the sidebar. It’s an option that I’ve thought about, off and on, for a long time.

I pay for my own hosting. My personal websites run me a little over $500 (based on the packages I’ve upgraded to) when I add my business it brings it over $1,000
