I love Europe. I haven’t been for a few years but I’m planning a trip for Aiyana and myself this year or early next year. My daughter’s first international flight will be to Ireland or England. We have family in both countries.
My friend K has been trying to get me to go to Amsterdam. She’s been there several times. “Oh! you’ll love it Opal!” There is so much to do over there. Make sure you stay over there a while. It will give you a chance to completely immerse yourself in the culture.
If you are looking for excellent hotel deals you can be sure to find them on Easy to Book. I checked out their selection. I really like the Biderberg Garden Hotel. When I travel I tend to stay in the 3 or 4 star hotels/condominiums.
I don’t travel as much as I like. I work hard so this is one of ways I reward myself. The Biderberg Garden Hotel also has wireless connection so I would still be able to check in with family/friends in the evenings.
When it comes to travel I don’t want my daughters experiences to be limited. I’ll encourage her to explore and learn about other cultures. Whenever I travel to a different place I always try to check out their art museums. I love art remember?
The Allard Pierson Museum has art dating from 5000 B.C. all the way up to 500 A.D. that’s impressive. I’m sure my daughter and I would spend quite a few hours there.
Whether your looking for tourists attractions, hotel reservations, landmarks, shopping or restaurants check out EasytoBook.com it’s your one stop source for travel in Amsterdam.

My cousin is currently in the UK and invited us but finance wise we will have to pass…I know I will regret it. Can’t wait to hear more about the trip plans!

Allow me to point out to you that this particular hotel is situated quite a way from the centre of Amsterdam. I guess you would need to take a taxi or a tram or maybe it is close to the subway to get to the centre.
Taking into consideration Amsterdam, it is not expensive at 150 euro per night for a 5 star hotel, but the location will have something to do with that. I stayed at the Bilderberg Jan Stuykens or something like that just near the Rijksmuseum in October, and I paid 210 euro per night for a 4 star. But then that hotel is closer to the centre.
The rooms were ok, well equiped but small. My hotel was a good 5 min. walk from the Leidseplein, which is great to go and eat and have a drink, it is the place to be for party people in A’dam. Clean party people, that is, it is not the red light district.

Harmonia,
Oh too bad you cannot go.
Pieterbie,
Thanks so much for the information.
When I was in Sweden I stayed on the hotel Rygerfjord. It used to be a luxury ship but is now permanently docked. That was small! I stayed there a few nights and then stayed with a friend.
I’m thinking we’ll visit Amsterdam in two years.

My friend’s daughter just spent a semester in Europe and Amsterdam was her favorite city to visit.
Other friends of ours said that their stay in the Intercontinental Hotel in the city center was the best - a little pricey, but worth it!

I recently spent my summer vacations in Bulgaria. I really enjoyed my stay in some of
the best
hotels in Bulgaria. It’s one of the best hotels I have been so far.
