Cabbage wraps

Cabbage
I have cabbage, lentils, cumin, onion, and loads of other veggie goodness laying around just waiting to be used. I do believe I’ll be making some type of cabbage wrap (raw & baked version) later today.

This might sound like a wacky suggestion but how about using it for art? Making something crazy out of it and then posting a picture over here? Just a random thought…

Church of Integrity,
Now that is an interesting idea.
Hmm, I just might have to do that sometime this week. Thanks for stopping by!

I just had cabbage tonight actually!
Cabbage, Onion, Potato, mixed veggies and a veggie burger in foil on the grill. Yummy!

Harmonia,
I didn’t get around to making the wraps tonight. What you made sounds delicious. Have you ever noticed that lightly steamed cabbage has a slightly sweet taste? My daughter loves it! :-)

I love cabbage…growing up my family would have the traditional corned beef and cabbage…even before I went veg I would eat the cabbage and not the corned beef, again, I never really liked the taste of meats, years before I knew what a vegetarian even was! Like I have told you before - my 3 faves as a toddler were: Lima Beans, Dried Apricots, and Alfalfah Sprouts! Pretty odd for a toddler, eh!? Even stranger than that…I’m proud of it! haha I like being an odd bird sometimes!

Harmonia,
Yes I remembered you mentioned that. I always thought that, if giving a choice of solid foods, an infant would choose vegetables and fruit. In fact I think they’ve done studies on that.
