Smoothie of the Day ~ 05/02/07
This smoothie has two ingredients. Apples & romaine lettuce. It turned the smoothie a beautiful shade of green. It’s delicious. If I want some kick I can add ginger.
Apple Green Smoothie
4 cups of apple juice (freshly juiced or 100% apple juice)
4-6 romaine lettuce (large) leaves
Directions
1. Add all ingredients into blender.
2. Blend until smooth
3. Enjoy!

Nope it’s not bitter. The sweetness from the apple balances it out. I toss collards, kale, broccoli, anything green has the potential of ending up in one of my smoothies. The fruit keeps it sweet.
