I’m currently looking for books about Adobe Photoshop Elements. As if I don’t have enough books already! I know! I know! I have a lot of books on my bookshelves. From what I’ve been reading, APE 4.0, does 90% of what the regular Photoshop program does. I don’t need it for the main editing. I have Aperture 1.5 for that and I love it but I purchased APE 4.0 for additional enhancements such as watermarking, & doing a few off the wall things. That you’ll probably see here eventually.

The bulk of my work is still done in Aperture. It might take some time getting used to APE’s set up it did with Aperture but I had fun learning so I know I’ll have a blast with Adobe!  I do recall seeing a few Adobe video tutorials online so I think I’ll check a few of those out while Aiyana is sleeping.  Isn’t the internet great?  I usually find what I’m looking for! :-)

I don’t see my brother and sister in law since they’ve moved to Connecticut. My brother received a promotion, he’s now a vice president at an insurance company. My family is close so we have talked about alternate ways to keep in touch. He’s getting a webcam so we can all stay in touch. I’m thinking of telling him to sign up for Person.com - webcams, chat, personals. It features webcams, chat, and personals.

The majority of my friends live far away from me. Occasionally we all connect online with video chat. The great thing about Person is that you can make a chat room invisible or choose filters that restrict people from entering. I like that.

Ok, I figured out why Photoshop Elements wasn’t working for me. This past Saturday I downloaded it, electronically, from Adobe’s website at the time of download I didn’t really pay too much attention to the full extension it’s supposed to end in .dmg it was .dmg.bin. This afternoon I saw the error. I eliminated the .bin and voila I was able to download.

Wow! It’s gorgeous here in Maryland. Aiyana arrived back in the house to have lunch.  We will be heading back outside to take advantage of this beautiful day. :-)

There’s an independent support forum that offers discussion forums for Vonage users. A quick overview of the forum shows a variety of categories to choose from such as Report a Bug and Stock. The forums seem to be fairly active which is important. I don’t want to be posting on a forum that does not receive a lot of activity since it can take a while for anyone to respond.
