Ok so I tried to install Adobe Photo Shop Elements for Mac a few moments ago. When I click to install it immediately attempts to install with My Final Cut Express:HD program. Gah!!!! Then I receive the File Error: Wrong Type message. Time to check and see how o fix this.
It seems that is what the girls where saying in our session today. I heard them loud & clear. There are times when we need to be quiet and listen to what children are telling us. In many ways they are begging to be acknowledged. Why aren’t more of us doing this? Are we really that arrogant to think we know everything. The “Mean Girls” conflict resolution discussion was “interesting”. I’ll blog about that in detail tomorrow. The important thing for me to relay to the girls that I interacted with was I’m listening! I respect and value you as a person. I can learn a lot from you.
Let’s just say there were a few “close minded mentors” in our session. Wake up!
Beads on Leaves
Aiyana and I were outside early this morning and of course I was taking pictures. I took about 30 of these beaded beauties. I love how these leaves were outlined. The water resembled beads. Truly beautiful!
* Oh by the way five of the turkey vultures were back. I’ll upload more pictures later but now I got to head out for my mentoring activity.
Over the past few years I’ve been approached by a variety of companies who wanted me to review their products on my blog. If I actually liked their products I probably would have done it but I didn’t. Not a single one. I politely turned them down. Last week I started writing sponsored reviews thanks in part to MacBrosPlace. I recently discovered his website and I really like it. In one of his post he mentioned that he wrote reviews for pay! I thought, “Wow what a coincidence I’ve been thinking about doing this!” It’s true I have been thinking about it for a while. I guess you could say actually reading his post made me move on it a little faster so thanks MB!
