Appreciation

Posted on April 26th, 2007 in Personal by Vegan Momma

Last week Jim of Black in Business wrote a fabulous article about Yearly Action Plans. If you haven’t checked out his website do yourself a favor and pay him a visit. I like the way he thinks. Anyway back to my post…

In Jim’s article he talked about showing appreciation for those who work for you. If you thin about it you can apply that to whoever helps you out. The clerk at the department store, the wait staff who assists you at a restaurant. It sounds easy right? Well why aren’t more people letting others know they are appreciated.

Connectivity Issues

Posted on April 26th, 2007 in Technology by Vegan Momma

Can you believe it? I’m still plagued with connectivity issues. However this time it is my provider Verizon DSL. I’ve been having intermittent connectivity all day long. There has been an outage in the PA area and the technician (after much troubleshooting) told me I was probably affected also. If I’m still having problems they’ll send out a technician tomorrow. This has never happened before so I’m not going to complain about it. There is plenty of other work I can get done away from the computer. My Verizon DSL is still down but I have backup. It’s a smart choice. I do a lot of work online so it’s important that I can stay connected. I had a lot of errands planned, that would have taken me out of the house for tomorrow, but it looks like I might have to stick around the house if I still am having connectivity issues with Verizon.

Wraps ~ Raw & Cooked

My daughter has asked for egg rolls today. I plan to make them later this afternoon. Nope, I haven’t had a chance to go to the gym and it looks like I won’t be getting there today. No problem I can get an entirely food work out at home.

I’ll be making “Raw wraps also. I’ll be using cabbage rolls to make my raw wraps. I’ll definitely be making a mango sauce today. I want it to have a little zing so I’ll toss something into it to spice it up. I’m still trying to think of what. I do have fresh cayenne and ginger. I’ll be posting pics and a recipe later so stay tuned…. :-)

Website Stats

I’ve started checking my website stats more often? Why? I’m curious to see what brings users to my website. I’ve also been thinking of added content based on some of the search strings. I’ll be trying to post more smoothie recipes on a weekly basis. I receive a lot of hits for that.

Work Out ~ 04/26/07

Posted on April 26th, 2007 in Personal by Vegan Momma

My daughter is still sleeping. I’m shocked. I’m taking advantage and getting much of my tasks out of the way. Yesterday my work came to a halt as I tried to pinpoint my  connectivity issues.  I was planning on taking my daughter to the park. There are lots of ducks, & Candian geese out there but I might have to hold off until another day. It looks like rain.

I’ll be heading to the gym in a few hours. Today I’ll be working on my upper body, calves, and abdominal.
