Mentoring Update ~ Role Models
When I first started mentoring with my girls I had planned on inviting a lot of speakers of numerous nationalities to come speak to out girls. As time progressed I started rethinking that. Why? Many of my girls have a poor perception of themselves (and their race) as young black women. They think they cannot be as good as their white counterparts.
