…almost everyone is crazy

My daughter and I are watching Hanuman, our four month old ferret, attack the newspaper dooking loudly every few minutes he repeatedly hides his meaty bone under the newspaper. Like anyone is going to steal that. The other ferrets are on the second level, of their Midwest Ferret Nation, sleeping.

Me: Hanuman is barking mad you know.
Aiyana: Yes he is but most people are crazy.
Me: Really (laughing) why do you say that?
Aiyana: Because it’s true. Silly mommy! :)

Cucumber Slices & hanging with Aiyana

Posted on January 11th, 2007 in My little Angel, Personal by Vegan Momma

Me: Do you want me to cut the cucumbers up smaller, Pook?
Aiyana: Uh (looking at the cucumbers) thanks mommy but no that size is fine.

We’re currently having a snack party. Aiyana is watching Kipper the dog while she eats her
beloved cucumbers. About an hour ago I made a smoothie that was a huge hit. What was in it? Manogos, strawberries, apple juice, cucumbers, and ginger. It had a little kick. Aiyana loves it. I’ll post the recipe tomorrow.

Herbs & shopping for vodka

Milk Thistle
Milk Thistle
Yep you read that correctly but it’s not to drink silly! I need it for herbal tinctures and perfumes. The herbs that I’m using, for examples milk thistle, aren’t extracted in water effectively. Milk thistles active ingredient, silymarin, is alcohol soluble.

Review ~ Mac OS X Shines In Comparison With Windows Vista

Posted on January 11th, 2007 in Apple, Technology by Vegan Momma

I saw this review yesterday. Personally I’m looking for Leopard to make an appearance. I switched to Mac n October 2006. I’ve been impressed with Mac
for years. I finally made the switch although I could run both OS on my Mac
via Boot Camp. I don’t want to. :-) I bought my father a Power Mac G5, one of his favorite
features is that it will read text to him.
