pineapple
Pineapple

I love fresh pineapple! I eat them plain, add them to smoothies, occasionally I add them to rice dishes, or stir fries. I think they are delicious and they are so good for you. They are an excellent digestive aid. Why? They are high in bromelain. Bromelain is a proteolytic (protein-dissolving) enzyme.

I saw this article a few minutes ago and thought I would post it on my website. If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time you know of my fascination and love of herbs. There are some of that are used daily in my house. I have numerous books on the subject, taken quite a few courses, educated when asked (I’ve been the go to person for nutrition and alternative remedies in my circle of family and friends”.) It’s only natural,
to me, that one of my concentration with my degree,  ultimately a PhD in Traditional Naturopathy, will focus on herbs the other concentration is nutrition.

College is going well (at times I cannot believe I’m back in school after being there for four years) I’m maintaining my A+ average. :-) I’m very proud the courses are challenging. I study, at least, three hours each day.
On to the article!
