Sandwiches

Posted on November 5th, 2006 in Personal by Vegan Momma

My daughter has been asking for sandwiches for over a week. I have time on my hands a pumpkin, squash, onions, etc., I’m feeling creative so I’m going to make “burgers” a raw version which I’ll pop in the dehydrator and a cooked version to satisfy her sandwich craving. I’ve been experimenting with food since I started making my own meals as a child. That’s a lot of time. My cooking/uncooking experiments rarely turn out wrong. I imagine it’s because I’ve been creating meals for so long, almost twenty years (I’m 36.) I rarely write down mesurements. When I make something and somone says, “This is so good what did you put in it?” I have to guess at the measurements. Creating meals to me is a form of art. I rarely think about it I just do it. However I’m trying
to get better at writing down recipes. Honestly!

Winding Road
I’m back! I took about 300 pictures of the road that leads to my community. It’s about a mile and is heavily wooded on each side.  I’ll be posting a few more pictures later today.
In a few weeks this road will be covered with fallen leaves. It’s truly beautiful.

Happy Sunday and Outdoor Adventures

My favorite photos have been taken outside. I imagine I enjoy it because that is what I’m comfortable with. I’ve recently decided to go outside of my comfort level and take shots around where I work. I’ve been inspired by Jon. While your visiting take a peek at his view of Baltimore. Baltimore is truly a beautiful place.
