My great aunt, who was 98, passed away on Monday. I took the day off of work. This week I’ve been thinking about her and my grandmother (her sister.) Grandmom died in 2004 she was 93 years old. They had long lives. I think about my grandmother almost every day. Her compassionate spirit had a huge impact on my life. I would like to think it helped mold me into the person I am today. It’s important to tell those you care about how much they mean to you. Acknowledge them while they are living so you don’t have any “what ifs” after they are gone. I’m thankful that I don’t have any of those “what ifs”.
