I caught the end of this riveting documentary yesterday. You can view video clips here. Actually Aiyana watched it as well. It was a great chance to talk to her about other forms of communication. It was wonderful that she see that although different in this aspect the children were similar in many other areas. I’ll be purchasing the DVD. We need to watch the entire documentary.
Two families were portrayed (they were related) the one brother and wife opted for cochlear implants for their deaf son the other brother and wife decided against it for their daughter.
