I have a lot of respect for Tai Sophia and have thought about pursuing some type of degree their of course I’ll wait until Aiyana is a little older. The Tai Sophia Institute is one of the oldest operating acupuncture institutions in the country? Tai Sophia Institute is a graduate school for the healing arts offering three master degree programs in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Applied Healing Arts.

One of my mid range goals is to be once again working outside of the home. I see myself accomplishing this within four years. Tai Sophia offers community programs throughout the year. I believe I will attend a few classes.

One World Cafe & Mentoring Update

One World CafeThis afternoon I’m meeting with my mentoring parner. It’s going to be a brainstorming session. It will be nice to toss around ideas. Guess what? She suggested we eat at One World Café its right across the street from Johns Hopkins University. (Did you know that Johns Hopkins University was the first research university in the United States?) I wonder if she’s vegetarian? I’ll ask her this afternoon. One World Cafe is a vegetarian restaurant! Why am I so excited? That means my choices won’t be limited! Finally a place where I have options! They even have a nice selection of raw food. You can check out their main menu here.

Staying Healthy with Nutrition

Staying Healthy with Nutrition by Elson Haas, M.D.

Elson Haas, M.D.

Elson Haas, M.D.

This textbook arrived last evening. After Aiyana went to sleep I eagerly started reading the book. It’s a great book and really doesn’t not read like you traditional “textbook” I’m really enjoying it immensely. I find it refreshing to see an M.D. who thinks outside the box when it comes to nutrition.
