First Rwanda now Darfur

You haven’t heard about Darfur? Check out my buddy’s blog to learn more about it. There’s a rally coming up on September 9th, for some reason I think I’m supposed to be going somewhere with my daughter, however if I’m free I will be participating.


Sudan’s Plan for Darfur Involves Its Own Force, Not the U.N.’s

KHARTOUM, Sudan, Aug. 21 — Sudan’s government has proposed using more than 10,000 of its own troops to quell the violence in the troubled region of Darfur instead of the United Nations peacekeeping force that it has repeatedly refused.

The Sudanese plan was presented to the United Nations Security Council last week, but whether it is a serious blueprint or another tactic in the country’s efforts to stall or thwart a United Nations peacekeeping force remains to be seen. more

It’s been mad busy here in Maryland. I had many things planned for this past weekend but I did not get too much accomplished. This past Saturday I took Aiyana into the Emergency Room. She was complaining that her arm was hurting. She’s fine. I brought her home and used herbs for the pain. It went away. I followed up with her primary yesterday, even though I felt she was ok, I wanted to touch base.
