I’ve read that ferrets experience a deep sleep (coma like at times) and it can be hard to wake them. Hmm, I thought, “I haven’t experienced that yet. A few weeks ago I was able to witness this phenomenon for myself. It’s too bad my camera is getting serviced or I would have taken pictures. When I peeked in on them yesterday Ganesh (sable) was sleeping on his back with his mouth-hanging open. Indra (albino) was in his sleep barrel (yes he has claimed it) with his tail clasped between his front paws. I was able to change their litter pan without them even blinking an eye.
