My little helper
Aiyana loves helping! We spend a lot of time creating things. Whether it be a fabulous meal, creating beauty products for my business, making crafts, vacuuming, putting her toys away, etc. When it comes to food preparation I have found myself purchasing items I normally wouldn’t buy simply because she loves helping. Our newest purchase is the Oneida Stainless Steel Multi Chopper.
I was four years old when my mother started letting me assist in meal preparations. I was five or six when I made my first cake. I called it a “rainbow cake”. I have fond memories of our baking Saturday’s. I used to look forward to the weekends. You know my mother never measures when she prepares meals neither do I. Aiyana and I make something together every single day. It’s one of the many ways we spend bonding.
