I’ve thought about making cookies the past few days so earlier today I went into the kitchen and made them. I did not know what type of cookie I wanted I just went in the kitchen and followed my instincts.

I made this for our breakfast. The kiwi toned down the sweetness of the strawberries and blueberries. It added a welcome tartness. My daughter loved it.
I rarely follow recipes or use meausrements when I’m in the kitchen. There are numerous occasions when I don’t know what I’m going to make when I start to prepare a meal. I just make what seems appealing.
Aiyana is three years old and I’m already teaching her the importance of saving money. I talk to her about investments; I break it down where she can understand, and the importance of recycling. I usually try to purchase products used. I’m trying to do my part in cutting down on the environmental waste.

I made this last evening. I had been craving a nice big green salad. I usually eat one daily but somehow had missed them the past few days. This definitely hit the spot. I rarely use salad dressing. I really enjoy the delicate and sometimes intense flavors from various vegetables. I picked the greens and leeks from my garden.
Nothing beats a freshly picked salad.
